Due to facility conflict, CSA will have no school on the coming Sunday, November 2nd.

CSA Trick or Treating - Sunday, October 26th, 2014

Dear CSA Families,

We will have trick or treating on the coming Sunday, the 26th.

Teachers will take the students to the cafeteria. The students will need to say at least one Chinese word to get a treat.

The schedule is:
1:45-1:55 for Pre-K and K
2:00-2:10 for 1st grade
2:15-2:25 for 2nd grade
2:30-2:40 for 3rd grade
2:45-2:55 for 4th and 5th grade
3:00-3:30 for 6th grade and up

Waring a costume is required but are welcome.

Andover Night - CSA Fashion Show

The 1st practice for the parents and kids Fashion Show will be start at 1:00 PM on this coming Sunday, the 26th.

When: 1:00 PM, Sunday, October 26th, 2014
Where: The Pike School

All who signed up the show, please arrive on-time - the students will have class starting at 1:30 PM.

Parents and kids who have yet signed up, you are welcome to stop-by for tryout.

Andover Asian Culture & Arts Night: December 6, 2014 - The Poster

The Andover Asian Culture and Arts Night poster is here. We are asking you to help to distribute to your friends and neighborhood.

Also, starting from this Sunday, the 19th, Mrs. Lili Xu, our Fashion Show Instructor will be at the school to organize the practice of the show. If you have yet to sign up, you can stop by the cafeteria and sign up on-site on the 19th and the 26th.

CSA Art Class New Offering - The European Painting

Dear All,

CSA "The European Painting" class is offered from 4:00 to 4:55 by CSA art teacher Kasey Walko.

This class is a beginner's course designed to teach students the basics of European-style painting. Students will learn how to mix colors by painting subjects such as still-lifes and landscapes.This class will be taught with acrylic paint. The materials are listed below.

Celebrate Chinese Moon Festival - Moon Cake on Sunday, the 14th, Sunday School and Next Week for After-School

Dear CSA Families,

In celebrating the Chinese Moon Festival (Zhong qiu jie - 中秋节) on the Monday, September 8th, we will have our school tradition of distributing Chinese Moon-cake during the coming Sunday's school session. On the 14th, our language teachers will tell about the Mid-Autumn Festival traditions.

CSA Chess Class - Update

This semester our chess teacher Steve Wu will continue to lead the chess class. Steve served as a volunteer in Franklin Elementary School Chess Club in North Andover and is a Chess Merit Badge Counselor for the Boy Scouts of America.
