New school year is fast approaching and CSA staff has been working throughout the summer in preparation for next school year. First, thanks all for your continue support to our Chinese school while great majority of the students have already been registered for the new school year as of now. We will have the GSA annual "Field Day" scheduled on this Sunday (06/12) begin at 12:00pm. The main events for the Field Day are potluck lunch followed with small fun games.

Please bring your dishes in by 12:30 if you want to win the prizes for the potluck. All dishes will be judged for the best three prizes by judges during 12:30-12:50pm.

In this digital economy that we live and breath technology, one can't help but wonder:

- Is computer science for my child(ren)?
- What career options are available?
- Is it too early or too late to get my child(ren) started? How do I get started?

Dr. Guanling Chen, Associate Professor of Computer Science at University of Massachusetts Lowell, and the Technology Advisor for CSA, will share his insights with us.

The traditional CSA Chinese New Year's Party is on the way! This year, the party will be on Sunday, February 7th, 2016, from 1:30pm - 6:30pm at the Pike School. (34 Sunset Rock Road). The performance show will start at 1:30. The theater will be open at 1:00 PM. Please be sure to get there on time.
